This is a test thread. I’ve made this topic to see just how involved people want to be in this forum. This thread should stay in the recent topic list, if everyone who comes here participates. The recent topic list is where most active members come to see what is new here. Its a simple click to this thread, every time you come to this forum. It would be nice to see the support by saying good morning or hello, every time you come to this forum.  others can also say hello to other members on any day they come to this forum. If only one or two people come here a day, this forum will never get off the ground.

So with that Idea in mind:

    Hello and good morning everyone.

Good morning to you… That photo is too nice to be an attachment..  Many people gloss right over attachments, that why I like the In your face version.

Well, rather than being a hypocrite , I wish everyone another good morning… Ive tried to use this thread as a measuring stick for those wanting to be involved with this forum… Most people who come the W.E. Forum, go to recent posts first , and look to see what is new. Offer a comment or some support to acknowledge that some one is interested and looking at their post.

People wont come here if its not interesting and supportive to those who are posting.

Seems pretty easy to me to say hello, everyday.. its like hitting the time clock… it also lets people know who is here or who has been here today.

when people come here,  the first thing they do is  view recent posts, and if they see no post in 24 hours, it screams ” No activity”    it screams ” Boring “…. when people go to their computer to view their daily compliment of forum of interest, if there is no activity here , then this forum falls off their daily perusal of forums of interest. .

Note: the thumbnail attachment in clays post here, then look at the embedded photo I added. Its fairly easy to see which one evokes more interest.  Most people wont take the time to view an attachment, unless its very specific to something they came here to see. A nice photograph can draw attention and sometime, bring about similar photographs and discussions.  IN one of my photo forums , my embedded photo would have brought about other members posting a shot of their morning be it in Brisbane Australia, or Beijing China, London, or Paris. Forums and photos give you a glimpse into someone else’s world, through their eyes

Clay:  How did the “Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning” prophecy work out on the day you took that beautiful photo?  Did it snow up in the hills?

It’s actually evening here right now, but here is a picture I took this summer just after sunrise when I was hiking in the Austrian Alps. NM is very beautiful in the morning, by the way, looks like a great climate even in the winter!

That’s gorgeous Mark! Tom, the weather ended up great the other day and it’s still lovely today though I hear that we’re in for some colder temps and precipitation tomorrow and Saturday. That’s great news for my kids that want to ski, not so great for me since I want to be working on cutting, milling, planing etc… the wood for the trim in the house. Time is short and the project is big. Ah well. I’m glad I live a life that has me feeling like I can’t wait to get back to a dozen or more things at any given time. 🙂

Now it is morning here. Another pic from the Austrian Alps in the summer. Quite close to the spot of the last picture, only now in the afternoon.
