We just started doing this project quite recently. CBW is working on finalizing the format etc.
So far, only a couple of people have put anything up.
The groups collective experience is something that I think we would like to capture as best we can.
If you have anything that you have seen that really helped you in your sharpening pursuits, please share it.

Is there a thread or a FAQ about how to use the forums?

IE9 is playing up for me lately.

“IE 9 is playing up for me”

??? Not sure what that means…
In any case I haven’t seem a forum instructions section. I actually looked pretty close when I first came here. Everything I know how to do was learned by trial and error… many errors.
    🙂

    Still asking for suggestions.

I’m hoping Tom, Ken, Lagrangian, Bob and a few others will join in. Then somebody can teach me how to use the thing 🙂

I copied the link out of a previous post, It looks like the same link, but it did not hyperlink it for some reason.
    Thanks for posting it again.

I figure out why, just copying the link from a previous post only copies the visible part… removing the http://. Lesson learned

    Hey everyone…

In keeping with Clay’s goal of creating a place for all things sharpening, I’ve started an index page, with some pages that contributors can start to add to…

    http://wickededgeusa.com/wiki/index.php?title=Wicked_Edge_Wiki_Index

Note, this is just a start… to get an idea of what direction to take. If you have ideas for pages or topics, let me know.

Also note… the pages are blank. Get to work! :woohoo: It’s your Wiki.

There are a few basic guidelines to follow listed here (again subject to change as this grows)…

Big thanks to Phil for adding what he has already! Like he said… “We still need input on content everyone!” 🙂

    Thanks!!!

It’s looking great guys! I’m really excited. I know Z-knives has a great interactive steel matrix we can probably use as a reference. I think BassLakeDan could be a great contributor to the Testing for Sharpness section.

One thing that is super important, in addition to observing all copyrights, is to give proper credit for anything we paraphrase or use as a resource. With the example of Z-Knives above, he has done a tremendous amount of work compiling and presenting the information on his page. If we use it or any other resources for reference, we need to cite our sources and provide a link back to the original page.
