I’m new here. I have two engineering degrees and consider myself well educated. I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say.. I mean you no disrespect, but because I’m not familiar with this forum, I would think that after participating in many forums over the last 30 years, where the learning curve is simple. I would have some idea about what you are trying to say in a Knife sharpening Forum.  Unless this is somehow an off topic forum, it want to make me run away.

Your title seems to be developer… is that this website development ?  I would suggest that the format of this forum with a very light orange font against a white background makes it difficult to navigate through the thread topics without straining my eyes.,

I would like to contribute some of my time into this forum, but have yet to see any real activity…IM still trying to feel my way around.  I know a lot of people are into knife sharpening… there are lots of products out there… this forum is a gateway to WE products and input for users.

It’s my guess that Chris (i.e. ‘developer’) was just posting this thread as a test thread back before they moved over from the old Joomla platform to the new WordPress platform for this forum (which happened about 2 weeks ago).

Thank you.. That would be an explanation…. ON the topic issue ” discounts ”  I am a retired disable veteran, and was very pleased to receive a Military discount with the purchase of my Pro Pac II. ( still waiting on it…) At my age ( 70 ) living on a fixed income.. I rarely buy anything without some sort of discount, and look for free shipping. Respect for us Vietnam Vets have come a long way over the last 50 years… Many places now offer substantial discounts to Military combat Veterans. Places like Home Depot, Lowes, many restaurants, sporting good stores, even craft shops. IM also a retired GM design engineer.

I’ve been researching Wicked edge for about a month, together with other systems. I’ve settled comfortably on the Pro Pack II , with the help and direction of Kyle at W.E.

No, if I ban anyone, there is no reference left. Usually we get on average 1 person per week (probably a bot) who registers (automatically, I assume) and then postes about Viagra or whatever. I delete their posts and ban them forever.
