What do you guys suggest? I clean my leather strops with denatured alcohol and that works pretty good. Want to make sure that would be ok with the roo strops as well.

I use a spray bottle filled with 70% Isopropyl alcohol, a soft toothbrush, and paper towels.

Mist the strop with the alcohol, then take the toothbrush and work it in so the alcohol can break up the compound. Wipe off the strop before the alcoholic totally evaporates.

I usually repeat the process 2-3 times, or until the strop and the paper towel both appear to be relatively clean.

    15-20 minutes at most.

Anyone else have another way of going about it? Hopefully something better?

I’ve done the alcohol thing and it dries out my strops. I ordered some leather conditioner….so maybe that will help after the fact. Who knows
