    Hi, don’t know if the post is in the right place.

    My ceramics are not straight, they are also thinner then my other stones and straps with about 2mm. This can’t be right?

    I’m not sure I understand what you mean by the 2mm thinner.  Are you measuring the height of the stone when set flat on a surface?  In any case, the total thickness should be pretty close to other Wicked Edge stones, with the exception of water stones.  On average, the stones/plates themselves should be about 3mm thick, with a double-faced tape attaching them which has a 0.6mm thickness.  My stones average about 30mm from face to face.  If yours are about 28mm, I think something is amiss.

    I would think that bending a 3mm thick ceramic plate like this would crack it for sure.   Give Kevin at Wicked Edge a call.  If it’s wrong, they’ll make it right.

    <p style=”text-align: left;”>Yep, they are 27mm thick, surface to surface. I can’t polish the edge when they are bent like these. I’ll send them an email. ?</p>
