Hey guys, does anyone have experience sharpening the Reloader? It has a recurve that transitions into a semi tanto toward the tip. I don’t want the bevel to look weird in the recurve portion. Any tips on getting even bevels? Thanks in advance.

I’ve sharpened a couple of these. They are pretty straight forward, and easy to sharpen. Positioning is important and making sure you treat the two sections independently is paramount. Make sure you don’t allow the stone to rock over the vertex between the recurve section and the front section. You can use a marker to help you find the optimum positioning. I haven’t entered one into the database since all the ones I sharpened were at shows and I wasn’t recording data.
