    Here is my 0350, 0301, & 0560. The elmax on the 0560 didn’t polish like the s30v on the other two. I can still see lines but they are not deep. So I’m thinking it was the 600 or 800 stones marks. The 0301 was a pain to clamp. The 0350 wasn’t the easiest either, but better than the 0301. The 0551 and 0750 were new when I got them. So they didn’t need anything.

    This answered a question I have had about recurve blades. Looks like your bevel stayed even on the recurve.

    the angle cube said 14deg.

    Looks good! Thanks for sharing! Did you micro-bevel at all or just leave it with the high polish and low angle?

    no mirco bevel. the 0301 and 0350 were set using the marks on the guides. at 15degrees. I got my angle cube before I did the 0560. i figured the s30v and elmax are super steels so that can handle it.
