    CA = California for one last week, then CA = Canada. I’ve been interested in knife sharpening at a very amateur level for quite a while (here’s my history), and it looks as though the Gen 3 Pro has everything I might want. I really am looking forward to being able to set it up and go through my knives, which are kitchen knives and pocket knives (and I learned immediately that for pocket knives one needs the low-angle adapter).

    Interests are cooking (thus the kitchen knives), movies, reading, and jazz.

    Welcome Leisureguy. I can assure you that within a few knives you will have better results than the so-called “professional” sharpers, at least where I live.
