First knife was for my Dad, this one is for a certain favorite Uncle of mine…
Started with 01 tool steel blank, made a paper template then traced and cut it out with a small hacksaw.
Used a simple jig to get the primary bevel set..
Had a small BBQ party. Roasted the knife and dropped in oil.
After the BBQ and you can see the grind got thin down towards the ricasso but its fixable…
On to final completion…
