Nice… Always like to see storage ideas. I’m guessing the “too small…” area could be used for other stuff like scopes, pastes, misc. tools, etc.?

Mark, I really like your station, very nice that you explained everything in your setup. I think I found your Plano tackle box, too.
I’ve seen a Plano stacker that holds 4 of the 3700 size on Amazon for about 30.00.
But before I get that much storage for my sharpner, I’ll need to win a lottery for all the stones etc…that would be lots of storage. LOTS.
Here is my plano setup.
I couldn’t figure out how to cut the foam cleanly until I tried a cleaver I had just sharpened.
Cut it like butter. My neighbor had the foam, he’s a Refuse Technician and has lots of cool finds.
One box for stones and one for strops, light, arms and other equipment
I keep a pouch of desiccant in each to keep them dry.

Really nice storage solution!
I got one of these Plano’s today from Amazon. For $6 I am very pleased. The Chosera’s fit perfectly. I will get 2 more of these. May go hight speed later with a Pelican case or something for the WE+Base, but for now having some storage with protection for the stones is the first priority.

Well crum…Plano must have made a change cuz you click on the Amazon link to take you to the 23700-01 box on Amazon and it takes you to the -02 box. I just picked up one (-02) thinking this is the same thing and guess what…they do not fit side by side like the one in the video and/or this thread. I’m bummed. Gotta return the Plano box and find an alternative.
If someone knows the new and correct part number/model please sound off!

I bought this Plano box (1123) from Walmart it fits my complete Propac 2, angle cube etc..
I put foam in the spaces and each space hold 2 stones.
Works very well for me.

I found two 3600 which are six rows vertical. I can place one stone in each of the six compartments so I needed two. That’s fine, gave me room for the sharpie, extra long vice screws, and extra diamond paste in syringe. I’ll keep looking for 23700-01 but at $27 each I’m not in any hurry. These two 3600 together were less than $10.
I see you have some EP strips in use ; I like the box you have what looks like a power pack in.

I bought the plano 23700 from the Amazon link and they send me an 02 version instead of the original 01
But I think this 02 is better. Its a bit of an update from the 01
You cant put the stones in the same way but they still fit, just arranged differently.
At first I tried to put them in the way shown that worked with the 01 box but they did not fit right that way, but when I turned them and stacked them on top of each other the lid to the box still shut.
And they changed the latches at the front so that you can now put two stones in there. Right now I just have misc stuff but stones will fit. A total of 16 in the box if you wanted.

I just ordered some from flambeau outdoors. They look just like plano ones except the dividers are made out of a special material that is used to prevent corroison and rust. So any moisture that gets in the box wont cause rust on the stones, or anything metal in the box(meant as tackle boxes)
I am loving this one. It comes with 2 that strap on and when I sharpen I set one box at each side of the WE. Plenty of room in the main compartment for my strops and other items.
It took off the sticker..but the double small cases fit the paddles perfect. I think it is the only one like it. I picked mine up at sportsmans warehouse.
