Anyone have a pic of how they modified the handles to sharpen spydercos near the choil of the blade?

I don’t have any pics on me right now… I will try to snap one when I get home. But basically you can just grind off the plastic side part on a belt sander if you have one. You know its all the way removed when you see sparks coming from the side of your stone. Be aware that this is supposed to help protect you if your stone slips off of the edge, so by removing it you may be removing a safety feature. But it will allow you to get in there where you need to with the choil being in the way.
Thank you sir.

I did it to mine on my router table. I only did one side so I could have an adequate finger guard/rest on the opposing side. I try to only use the trimmed side when I have to so the stones wear evenly.
