I’ve had my WE for only a few months now. Have done maybe 25-30 knifes. My 100 and 200 stones are already worn out. Especially the 100 side. Is there any kind of warranty on the stones? I can see bare metal in spots on the 100 side. I tried taking a pic,but it wouldn’t show up on my iPhone.

Without a picture hard to saw. It takes about 10+ knives to get them broken in, maybe 20 to be really broken in. The first 10 knives my 100’s cut steel like crazy. Now they have mellowed out. It takes a little longer to re-profile, but they still work well and don’t leave deep scratches like when first new.

My 400’s cut better. Something isn’t right. Pretty bummed. I spent like $500 on this thing.

The price of the WEPS is the same, for the same type unit, no matter where you buy it from. Unless it is used.
