This isn’t a lazy post, I really did try to find the answer. I ordered the Basic Wicked Edge with a few extra stones, but I did not order a base for it. I see there is a template for drilling holes on the WE website. I have an old desk I acquired and would like to mount my WE to it. My question is does the WE come with hardware to mount to a bench or desk? The desk I have is 1-3/8" thick. If the WE doesn’t come with the hardware needed to mount it to said desk, can someone please recommend what hardware I need to purchase. I could just wait for the unit to get here, but I want to start sharpening right away and I want to make I have everything I need ready to go. Thanks in advance!

thanks to RE knives-if not you can make a pattern of your WE base by tracing it on paper,then turn it over after folding one of the long edges of the paper to hold it in place-then mark the holes on bottom of the base,I dont know how long of screws you will need,but they are 5-80 metric,you can get them in any configuration you like and they go into the base about 1/4" so add that to the thickness of your desk-if I was able to do it I’m sure anyone can-good luck
