Hi! Soon-to-be-new-user here, ordered the gen 3 last month and I’m really excited. =) First learned to sharpen by hand with my father-in-law’s Arkansas stone set and I’m still relatively new to it. Discovered my passion for knives and sharpening about three years ago and will hopefully be getting into knife making after I finish nursing school. I’m really looking forward to getting my Wicked Edge so a minor heads up, the perhaps-ever-so-slightly-over-enthusiastic newbie might be poking his nose into things he doesn’t quite fully understand (yet). I apologize for his potentially uncouth behavior ahead of time and I’ll do my best to keep him I in line. =D Did order the 800/1000, 1200/1600, and I believe the 5/3.5 strops.
