If you chose “Search by Keyword” and “Search titles only” options, you typically get many posts with the same title in a row - try word “chosera” for example. So I think the links to threads only (no particular posts) will be better (shorter and clearer) result of searching.
This annoyed me also.
Would like to just find all “old thread titles” with “chosera” in it, without bringing up every post, in every thread.
Unusual behaviour I feel.
If you type -re in the box after the word (for example chosera -re) you just get the first post, and not all the re:chosera posts after it.

But better is “chosera -re:”. If you type only “chosera -re”, you exclude all titles containing re in any word, with the word “progression” for example.
