Lots of fun & success & happiness in the UK! I will miss your descriptions of Mallorca (which I visited once, but don’t know well). It sounds like a relaxed place with all the visitors & yaughts.
And TC, the UK has changed a lot since the '80s. Back then food was quite unedible (veggies cooked for at least half an hour  ) and the unions & strikes were all over the place. Not every change there is positive (my oh my, is it really illegal to carry even a Laguiole knife?), but at least the food is quite good nowadays and I always enjoy it a lot when I have to go to London for my work. (Although some beer is still luke warm  And Guinness is undrinkable as ever . Fortunately every pub has cold lager, too :cheer: .)
https://toshoknifearts.com/shop currently the knife and similar ones are not on their website probable due to lack of stock I would imagine they will reappear when Takeda has time to make some more his main thing appears to be kitchen knives they have quite a lot of them on toshoknifearts and there are a couple on CKTG
For me, pretty much constantly since it arrived, a Centofante Memory
This knife is a perfect sized EDC IMO. 3" blade, blue anodized Ti scales with glass fiber overlay on the non clip side. Liner lock. Butter smooth.
I never thought I’d like it as well as I do. I tend to go for (what I perceive as) more ergonomic designs, but this knife, with no choil and little contouring is really quite perfect.
I ordered my zt 0550 2nd generation from kershawguy.com. it’s my current edc. You can find some great deals on kershaw and zt blems. Worth checking out. Trust me.
Yeah, I kinda hate this knife. I LOVE getting new knives and this thing has stopped a whole bunch of purchases lately I look at the possible acquisition, then look at the Memory and go “naw, I’d never carry it” It’s kinda like that voice in your head, but worse, because it’s AWESOME…
I hear a lot of knifemakers’ names bounced around here, but my frugal upbringing and a frugal wife have forever locked me in to the dingier side of the tracks.
But whilst I was browsing, I came across William Henry’s web site. Pricey stuff. Have any of you collector types had occasion to hold one? Is this stuff the top quality they claim?
Not in this lifetime or Universe! For that kind of money I could have the new OPPO Planar Magnetic earphones and the H1a Digital to Analogue Pre-amp/earphone amplifier plus a new Fallkniven PXL folder that I sold and now regret.
Oh my! Now add a new pair of Dynaudio powered speakers to the above preamp and Planar earphones!
Seriously, the knives available from the makers mentioned here are superb stuff.
Yes, me too! I thought I was finished with knives and the money from my sales went into my new Samsung Smart TV for my man cave…but here I am back to knives again. Oh well, they are in good hands now and I can buy other knives as my piggy recovers.
I tend to give away my unwanted things since I learned a long time ago that the second hand price for most things will not replace it and I think in general if I do sell something I am always unhappy after so I feel much better if I pass it on to someone I know and who will appreciate it .
Visit either of the custom knife shows in NY if you want to handle the some of the world’s trophy knives. The March show features more custom work. The November show has a few more tactical knives than the March show but still has a good share of amazing high end knives from around the world. Blade Show is another great place to check out some of these wonderful blades.

I’m hoping to make it down to Eugene for the Oregon Knife Show in April. (Bob, I’ll contact you once I know for sure.)
I get a little giddy thinking about holding some of the knives there… but as someone else mentioned, my collection is a couple of paygrades lower down the scale…
