I believe they may have customized previous model cases they sold. Original idea was the case was shipping crate but very large and expensive shipping.
I believe my G4P pedestal model came in an adapted case for that reason.

Different usable cases are easy to source. But, since the G4P is a new model, that is offered in different options/configurations, you will probably need to customize the foam insert yourself. There are different foam sources that can be used and customized to your needs. Good luck.

That’s why I started the the Expert Corner Group. But, not everyone is comfortable with that form of interaction. I’ve amassed some good info in the FBG. Enjoy your viewing. I’m told 2x speed helps. I talk alot.

You can either augment the new shorter WE66 on the top with a WE LAA or on the bottom by elevating the vise with a riser block installation. With a riser block I can achieve…[Read more]

I have three WE rigs: A Gen 3 Pro with a 3/4″ riser block added and the SS aftermarket micro adjusts (my design), a WE130 with the same type microadjusters and what would called a WE120, with the original vise and on which I use the rods/microadjusters from the WE130 rig.
The Gen 3 Pro is a very nice rig. I especially like the incremental…[Read more]

I can’t imagine not using the micro-adjust on every knife I sharpen.
The main purpose is to match the angle of the edge of the knife you just mounted. If you know what that angle is, you’ll want to be spot-on to avoid starting a major profile job. If you don’t know what the angle is, you’ll want to use the micro-adjusts to zero-in on the c…[Read more]
