The WEPS works great out of the box. But when you are really into sharpening with it, you may want to obtain all sorts of accessories and gadgets. I have quite a few of them. If you live in Europe (I live in the Netherlands), it can be quite expensive to import them from the USA.
So here is a picture of my WEPS paraphernalia with the names of the (mostly European) shops I bought them from.
Hogetex: http://www.hogetex.com. In the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (but ship worldwide). Sell angle cubes, loupes, microscopes and all sorts of other measurement devices. Very reliable shop that even sell on credit (which is in fact the only way to buy there ).
Peter Fronteddu: http://www.fehlschaerfe.de. Sells the WEPS and some accessories. Reliable guy who had a lot of good tips when I bought my WEPS from him. Shipment took about a week.
Benoît Membré: does not have a website (at least not one via which he sells the WEPS), but can be reached at latelierdutranchant@gmail.com. The other European WEPS seller. Also reliable and shipment also took about a week.
IKEA: http://www.ikea.com. Do not sell online.
Office supply shop: a Sharpie is usually an Edding (German brand) where I live.
Fisherman’s shop: I read on this forum they sell all sorts of boxes to hold a lot of small things. So I went to take a look and the Plano box fits the WE stones almost perfectly. According to the salesman, you should look for a fisherman’s shop that sells Shimano stuff, since this Plano box is in the Shimano catalogue. Probably available online as well.
Lightinthebox: http://www.lightinthebox.com. Actually a Chinese site, but they managed to get the loupe to me in exactly three days.
Wicked Edge: you may have heard of them ;). Very reliable and fast shipment (I selected FedEx, much better than USPS when shipping to Europe), postage to Europe is a bit expensive, though.
