“Please make a separate account to log into the forum”
We’re still working on the issue. The forum is built on the Kunena Forum package which runs on the old Joomla! platform but not on WordPress sites. The rest of the website is on the WordPress platform. WordPress does have a forum package but it doesn’t have nearly as many features as the Kunena Forum, so we don’t want to switch over. That being the case, a separate login is needed for the forum and it throws some people off. We’ve been getting a lot of help requests from people who have accounts in the regular site but can’t log into the forum so they’ve been getting confused. The next step for now is to have that banner go away when the user is logged into the forum so that only people that aren’t logged in will see it.
