    Cleaned up the blade, satin finished the primary grind but left the “rougher” original steel look on the flats(you can still see the blown out edge at the bottom as well)Grind-close-up

    Cut handle scales out of mango wood, pinned & glued.Handle-glue-clamped

    Rounded and sanded the handle…alot.Rough-handle

    And viola!  A finished knife…actually there were a few more steps but limited to 4 pics per post I guess.1

    Knife was clamped and Wicked Edged at 14dps down to 2000 grit lapping film and 5/3.5u leather strops.

    Wow! Indeed very nice! I like the tougher look on the flats. And the wood as well.
