I see the scissor attachment is available in the new Pro Pack III. But I do not see it anywhere else on the site by itself. Is it available yet?

I don’t see it anywhere else either. It’s interesting that the pro-pack 3 has the gen 3 vise with the standard granite base instead of the full-blown gen 3 pro sharpener.

I’ll post some pictures a little later this morning. We don’t have the instructions written or the packaging done yet, so we haven’t listed it on the site.

Thanks! Is it possible to vary the angle of the scissor attachment?

I guess I’ll be adding a scissor attachment to my list of accessories to buy.

It is. You do it by changing the angle on the degree bar or degree plate. The numbers are meaningless, so you have to match the angle by using a marker.

Clay, have you encountered any issues with the clamping screws getting in the way of the arm when sharpening scissors with a more acute grind? It seems like that may be an issue. Can the screws be threaded from the opposite side of the scissors attachment?

I think we’re just a couple of weeks away from having them in stock. I’ll post here again when they’re ready and give you guys a jump on ordering from the first batch.

This brings me to another question.  Do you need to have sharp scissors, or do they work more upon two pieces of metal being closely together?
