    Hello. Newly registered here.
just got my Infidel and need help clamping the knife. I’m not comfortable taking the knife apart so I’ve tried to clamp the full knife and since the blade is so narrow I can’t get it to clamp and if by some miracle I do get it to, the stones then rub the clamp itself since the knife is so narrow. I hope I’m explaining this well enough.  Anyone got any advice?  Thank you

Welcome to the W.E. Forum, Terry.

This is a handy adapter many of us use for similar clamping situations.  It can be used to hold the knife, by it’s handle, up above or out away from the vise.

The W.E. Low Angle Adapter is another helpful accessory, (but not for that particular knife).

I love my Tormek Small Knife Jig! It comes in very handy with dagger blades and other blades that are difficult to clamp up. I take my OTF apart when I sharpen it. I use a telephone workers knife that I use for my leather knife because it has a short, strong blade with a good rubbery handle that provides a good grip. The Tormek Jig comes in handy!
