Martin was kind enough to send me this beautiful knife that I couldn’t resist fiddling with even though it came already looking great:

I’m hoping he’ll jump on and tell us a little but more about it. What I can add now is that it is beautiful, well balanced and feels great in my hand.

    Hi Clay.
im realy glad you liked it 🙂

so what can i say about the knife, its a damascus blade and the scales are pear trees (almost sure)
its a small nice hunting knife with great balance, and now realy sharp I suppose ( now with a weps edge on it)
the scales got i from a very old cover for jewelery box, here in sweden.
i hope you use it when you go hunting 🙂
    Best regards

Beautiful blade, beautiful handle, a very beautiful knife. In particular, I really like the sweep of the handle in the bolster area.

That is one GORGEOUS knife ! I love the patterns in the Damascus steel and the wood handles, very nice
    pairing indeed.

I ( up until about a year ago that is ) used to make Native American “Style” Flutes from all kinds of wood, bamboo, and even Urban Pine ( PVC ), and always treasured a piece of special wood like this…..man, I would have loved to find a piece of it big enough to make a flute from…..pair that wood with some inlaid crushed Turquoise and it would surely be eye candy. I still fiddle with the flutes a bit, but now that I have my WES Pro-Pack II, I am spending time sharpening, LOL.
