    Just got my Micro fine ceramic stones and they don’t seem to be very flat are you suppose to lap them or prep them in some way.:blush:

    Lapping them will smooth them out, and you can also get better performance out of them. Take a look at this thread…

    FLAT? Or SMOOTH? I found the coarse side felt higher than it’s rated grit. But I really like it like that, so no worries for me, but some folks have smoothed them out.

    OTOH, mine seem to be quite flat.
