I purchased the wicked edge several years ago. I have little to no experience sharpening knives. I think I may have made a poor choice in stones when I bought the system. I bought:

    100/200 diamond stones
    400/600 diamond stones
    800/1000 diamond stones
    1200/1600 ceramic stones
    10-.5 leather strops.

I am worried that I should not have bought the ceramic stones. Can you switch diamond stones for ceramic like I did, or do you need to go all Diamond and then switch to ceramics? Do I need to buy more stones to get a sharp blade?

You have everything you need, and more, except experience.  With practice and broken-in sharpening stones you will get Wicked sharp edges.
