I purchased the same model you have Clay, it came with a spring like device to squeeze and hold a slide in.  But what is the trick to hold a knife on one of these babies?

I don’t know your microscope. But either I simply put it on top of the edge (usually in the WEPS) and then focus it (this works with many but not all microscopes) or I put it on a “table” and then use my sharpening installation (with precise up.down/left/eight) controls to sharpen on the knife.

I made a little jig to hold knives on the scope stage:

The extra screw holes are so I can put in a thumb screw and then adjust the angle of the blade so I can catch the bevel at the right angle to the lens. You could make something like this with a large gate hinge and just drill and tap some holes in the top plate. You’d need an extra little plate with through holes to hold the knife to the top plate.
