It is a bit off-topic, but today I picked up two sheaths from Martin Swinkels for my Swamp Rat Ratmandu and my Fallkniven A1. They are absolutely stunning. And functional: completely modular and very sturdy.
I only knew Martin by name: he is a well-known sheath maker who makes custom sheaths for customers around the world. I found out a couple of weeks ago that he lives almost around the corner from where I live.
When I visited him for the first time, he gave me a piece of the specially tanned leather he uses for sheaths and a Stanley knife. He asked me to cut the leather. It was impossible. Next he gave me a piece of normally tanned leather and that was quite easy to cut.
His sheaths are among the best you can get. I have no shares, but I can recommend him to everyone! http://www.martinsheaths.com/
