    I like the black background better even though the base fades into the background. The angle is better and the color is more vivid.

    I am still waiting on my Gen 3. I ordered 8 weeks ago. Sounds like it will be arriving any day now. :woohoo:

    It was just over 8 weeks for me. I spoke to someone in the office that told me I was #14 on the waiting list and they were receiving 45 from the machinist. I am very impressed with the quality…..Superb!

    Thanks Juneau92,

    I like the black photo too, but I didn’t think it showed the Gen 3 as well. I didn’t think it was ever going to get here. Now, I still cant use it because I want to do a video on it and would like to keep pristine for that. I may not be able to hold out much longer.

    Sweet looking edge, MB. Looks perfect, especially for tough S-90V steel. That’s a knife I’ve admired for some time now. What stone progression did you use?

    Thank you, Yes, I looked and looked at this knife for a while before I took the plunge. Im glad I did now that the pain of sticker shock went away. I worked it down through the diamond stones 100-1000 to re-profile the edge down to 17* then through the ceramic stones 1200 – .6 micron and then stropped it down to 3.5 micron diamond paste. I don’t find the S90V to difficult to work with using the wicked edge.
