    Bartenders cleaner, to clean the diamond stones.  Which one? I see 4 or 5 varieties of the bartenders cleaner, liquid, powder.  And do you mix it up, and submerge the whole stone under water and leave it sit? Would that destroy the stone? Or do you want to clean it and dry it off as quickly as possible?

    For me, I use the liquid.  Shake it up first, then draw a short line on a wet stone.  I use a small brush to scrub.  Repeat on other side.  Rinse, pat down with towel, stand up to dry.

    This is what I used, with a stiff fiber brush. I was amazed how well it worked
