    First knife was for my Dad, this one is for a certain favorite Uncle of mine…

    Started with 01 tool steel blank, made a paper template then traced and cut it out with a small hacksaw.received_10206804626307228

    Had a small BBQ party.  Roasted the knife and dropped in oil.received_10206945046017633

    After the BBQ and you can see the grind got thin down towards the ricasso but its fixable…received_10207005487808640

    On to final completion…

    I may go to a propane forge for the next build but seriously a guy should have the hot dogs ready when using this method or its just a waste of good bbq action! 😛
