Got this knife in a couple weeks ago, finally got to it today! This knife was made for right handed use by my customer himself! He did a nice job w/ the handle and the polishing of the blade actually. But the edge was extremely thick so that it just wouldn’t cut well.  Rather than scandi grind it (lol) we decided to go for the full regrind. It was measuring around .040″ thick at approximately 20 dps. I thinned/reground it to a 220 grit finish, .008″ thick at 12.5 dps, micro-beveled at 16.5 dps to 1k grit and lightly stropped. Extremely sharp now!

A friend once told me – surgery is painful but it keeps us alive. Sometimes removing a lot of steel makes a knife a better knife for certain tasks. Well yeah, this one underwent surgery, check out how much steel was removed!
