    Tuffy,
    Quick question.

How was the metal on the kai series?
    Any problems?
I’m trying to track these in general and see if they are improving.

of all the shuns and other thin bladed knives i have sharpened all have had micro chips. of this lot of 16 on a few had chips. most were in pretty good condition, but the ones used the most had some chipping.

now the one knife alone – the $16.00 one was loaded from point tip to end of the heel and that is how i have found most to be. i think it is just the nature of the beast. without sharpening and much use, they develop.

opinion only – looking for comments.
