Wordpress was kind enough to send me a summary of the usage of the past year of my blog, Molecule Polishing. I’d like to share it with you: http://moleculepolishing.wordpress.com/2013/annual-report/
I’m really happy about it: 5,300 views in the past year. Thank you all for reading!!
The most read article was about the Wicked Edge ceramic stones and the Spyderco ceramic stones. Understandably, since I also posted the link on the Spyderco forum. A photograph Clay posted of the ceramic stones suddenly gave me much more insight in how these stones work. http://moleculepolishing.wordpress.com/2013/08/08/the-mystery-of-the-spyderco-and-the-wicked-edge-ceramic-stones/
The second most-read article was about the use of a convex edge. That’s also understandable, since I got into a row on this at another forum. I’m not proud of this row, but I still stand firmly behind my opinion. http://moleculepolishing.wordpress.com/2013/01/24/what-is-the-use-of-a-convex-edge/
But the post that should have made the number one spot (according to me 🙂 ) is not even in the top 5. http://moleculepolishing.wordpress.com/2013/03/12/angle-changes-on-the-wicked-edge-revised/ Again understandable, since it involves some maths that is not everyone’s cup of tea. Fortunately I’ve got a buddy that way surpasses me: http://www.wickededgeusa.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=11&id=12705&Itemid=271 . This maths may not be very useful to everyone, but it is fun. And that is what knife sharpening is to me as well: fun.
Many thanks again for reading!
