    It’s a Plano box. For more information: https://moleculepolishing.wordpress.com/2012/08/12/wicked-edge-paraphernalia-in-europe/ .

    I’ve read it’s available on Amazon, but I haven’t checked for myself. But if you cannot find it there post a follow-up post here, since I know more people use this box.

    I sharpened this Fitz Exodus flipper today… about 23 dps (matching the existing angle). Very smooth flipper and very solid!

    Yes… My Wicked Edge manual is about 5 years old lol this was the best picture I could find in it!

    Josh,

    Very impressive! Thank you for posting these images! Is it possible to clamp this blade with Generation 3 vise? Do you clamp it on “flat part near spine and handle” or “on grind part closer to edge”? Do you need low angle adapter for this knife at 15 dps? Thank you!

    Very possible! Yes, I sharpened this on the gen 3 vise… as long as you have one of the flat raised spots of the gen 3 vise on a flat spot on the knife spine, it won’t wobble even if the other is on the “centerline” where the swedge meets the grind. Although on this one I actually removed the blade from the scales, and removed the thumbstud to sharpen for fear of nicking either one =)

    <hr />

    This was one of my projects yesterday… grinding fun and then finishing on the Wicked Edge at 18 dps!

    Ive been sharpening the field knives for a local farmer.  He was so impressed he asked if I could do a few other knives of his.
    This is one he gave me to “tune up”.  Its a Spyderco Sage 2 in CPM-S30V and retails for about $180.
    As it happens it was also one of the very first knives that I personally own after much research and its a favorite in my own pocket so you can possibly imagine how painful it was to see one in this condition…

    Knife was dismantled and thoroughly cleaned, bearing washers were polished, the blade was reprofiled, and finally sharpened at 16dps with an 18 degree micro-bevel.  Came out better then expected all things considered.

    Wow, outstanding work!  That is what I call a working mans knife.  Did you use 2000 grit sandpaper on the blade face or something finer?  I second Mark76, this must be one happy farmer.

    Thanks Josh, just trying to keep up and take a page out of your playbook man.  With a knife that badly abused its hard to go anywhere but up!

    Thanks Eddie, the blade face was reprofiled using a modified 1×30 sander that I put a speed control and water drip system on.  Its not a big workhorse but you can get alot of control with it.
