I think this may be the first time I haven’t seen you without a traditional folder in your EDC! lol

A few days ago I posted the green 940 here and on a Facebook group. I was told to remove the 940 from the picture. As it was not traditional.. like it did not have a blade, bolsters, scales and handle or something. Needless to say I am not in that group anymore. A knife is a knife iss a knife. I traditionally have one slipjoint folder one lock folder, or one auto on me.

Just sharpened this, a Lakota Hawk. I think its the thickest knife I have ever done. Was not going for a mirror polish.
It feels like a really nice knife, really hefty.

That IS some pretty thick stock, no doubt about it… And, no doubt about this quite possibly being one the slowest day on the forum I’ve ever experienced thus far. (as the crickets chirp)

Man, I definitely hope I get the chance to own a carbon fiber 940 someday. I love mine, no doubt… but D.A.N.G.!

I thoroughly blame you and your 17dps thread for the 940-1 sitting in that picture….

I couldn’t just have the pink one…. (Ie the green one and its pink liners)

Yep, slow. Very slow. I have my 2.5 inch wide low angle adapter on the way though. One more knife to knock out for a friend in oregon then that box goes back. The guy who made me the low angle addapter rounded up every bent piece of steel for me to sharpen for him. other than that yeah very slow day.

My gerber 97223 ( gerber’s zip code btw) circa 82/84. My parents sent it to me so I cleaned it back up and put it in the rotation.
