Long story short….. I have a knife comming my way that is not what I ordered.  Same style but different material.  The knife is a v35 steel but with a “fused tungsten carbide” edge.  Thoughts on sharpening with the WE??

Tungsten carbide steel is probably very hard and I would presume difficult to sharpen especially if you try to sharpen at an angle much below 20 deg. per side. I’d be careful and pay close attention to the bevel all the way thru your progression and I wouldn’t try to refine it to much if it were me but I don’ t have any experience sharpening tungsten so don’t know for sure. Please let us know how it turns out for you. I for one would be very interested to hear how that knife turns out for you. It’s a nice looking knife.
