    Im looking to get some mods for my Gen 3 Pro. Do any of you guys know what size r/c boots I would need to cover the ball joints?

    Welcome to the Wicked Edge Forum, Dillonkk !

    These are the R/C Boots  (click blue) I use.  I cut a small square notch in them to allow them to slide down over by ball rod ends.

    Welcome Dillonkk,

    I have never used anything to cover the ball joints on my gen. 3 pro sharpener and I have not noticed any grittiness or change in feel from the first day I received it. It is my opinion that covers are unnecessary, but they can’t hurt.
